Juan-Carlos Cano and Francisco Martínez from the GRC Group attended to the The First International Workshop on IPv6-based Vehicular Networks (Vehi6), 2012 in Alcala de Henares, Spain.
Last June, the GRC group attended to the First International Workshop on IPv6-based Vehicular Networks (Vehi6), co-organized by José Santa (University of Murcia) and Jong-Hyouk Lee (INRIA), which will be held on June 3rd in Alcalá de Henares, Madrid (Spain). The workshop searches for papers related with the topics related to network mobility, routing optimization, as well as hot topic within the scope of ITS cooperative networks. The GRC group presented the paper entitled “D-RSU: A Density-Based Approach for Road Side Unit Deployment in Urban Scenarios,” which was selected as one of the best papers to be published in the IEEE ITS magazine. We enjoyed quite a lot Alcala as well as “The Parador”, where the Workshop took place.
