28 Volta a Peu, 2010, 16 May 2010
May 16th Valencia celebrated the great feast of the Valencian popular athletics: The Volta a Peu 2010. 31 000 runners registered for the run, starting and ending at the Paseo de la Alameda, in order to run, walk and enjoy the 8,000 meters that make up this race.
The men’s race was dominated by Jaouad Oumellal who took victory in a time of 24:40. The women’s race had as Marta Esteban winner with a time of 28.59. Juan-Carlos Cano needed 44 minutes and 45 seconds and my three “Niñas” Andrea, Vanessa and Turis took 1 hour and 30 minutes.
