PhD. Dña. Karen Miranda defended his Thesis with honors at the University Lille 1 and Inria in France.
December 10th, 2013 I was invited to be one of the committee members evaluating the thesis of Karen Miranda at Lille University in France. The PhD entitled “adaptive Self-Deployment Algorithms for Mobile Wireless Substitution Networks”, supervised by professors Tahiry Razafindralambo and David Simplot Ryl proposed a novel algorithm to deploy mobile routers creating a mesh network backbone to offers connectivity in a target area. I had the opportunity to be one of the “Rapporteurs” of the thesis, and it was more than a pleasure to visit the very nice city of Lille where I enjoy the Christmas atmosphere in December. I met the Director of Inria, Lille Nord Europe, Dr. David Simplot-Ryl as well as professors Isabelle Guerin-Lassous, Anne FladenMuller, Thierry Deliot and my Colleague from Madagascar Dr. Tahiry Razafindralambo. Hope to visit Lille again, but if possible in Summer:-)
Congratulations Karen!
